Now TweetDeck Available for Chrome

by thenextweb

TweetDeck, the Twitter owned social media tool, has just rolled out updates for its Chrome app, bringing in all the new features that recently arrived in the Web app. These updates include incremental changes that have been made over past few weeks, like the ability to silence users instantly upon blocking them and a handful of profile improvements.

TweetDeck was originally an Adobe Air desktop application, designed with a unique columned user interface. Its goal was to be a realtime application that allowed users to monitor that information in a single concise view.

More specifically, the recent profile changes bring in an “updated design for the profile panel, which is now cleaner and clearer.” Additionally, usernames and hashtags are consistently clickable.

As for the new blocking features, Chrome now supports the ability to remove users from all of your columns immediately upon block.

With Chrome up to speed, TweetDeck’s Web app also received “a few new fixes and minor improvements,” which are live right now
